GROCERY GIANTS RIPPED YOU OFF AGAIN. FORCE THEM TO PAY.

Loblaws, Sobeys, Metro, and Walmart were caught gouging Canadians. Again. They must be held accountable. Sign on if you agree.

New Democrats are calling on the government to hold these grocery giants accountable through the Competition Bureau. Canadians need and deserve lower prices – not grocery chains that rip you off on top of their ridiculously high prices.

For years, grocery giants have gotten away with gouging Canadians for essential food items. First, they fixed the price of bread. Now, they’re overcharging for underweighted meat.

Accountability is long overdue. Canadians deserve lower prices – not a scam that overbills you for meat that’s already priced too high.

Jagmeet fought hard to strengthen laws and punishments for corporations who take advantage of consumers. Now, New Democrats are calling on the Competition Bureau to use those laws – including imposing serious penalties – to hold the grocery giants accountable.

Enough is enough. It’s time to start keeping corporate greed in check. Sign on if you agree.
