With the cost of living soaring, millions of Canadians are turning to food banks, children are going to school hungry, and Justin Trudeau has failed to deliver on a school lunch program for the last five years.

    In a country as rich as ours, no child should ever have to go to school hungry.

    Justin Trudeau and the Liberals have been promising a school lunch program for five years. Instead of delivering, they’ve prioritized their wealthy friends and let thousands of Canadian families down.

    Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives voted against a school lunch program for kids this past December. Instead, he continues to help grocery CEOs like Galen Weston get richer and richer.

    The cost of living is skyrocketing, and millions of Canadians are turning to food banks to get by. Right now, Food bank usage is at its highest level since 1989 and more than one million children are living in poverty.

    Canada is the only G7 country without a National School Food program – and that needs to change.

    Tell Justin Trudeau and the Liberals to add a school lunch program into the budget, so no child has to go to school hungry.
