No Canadian should have to live in fear because of who they are, who they worship, who they love or where they come from. But as we've seen increased white supremacist violence targeting people from racialized or persecuted religions, Justin Trudeau has done basically nothing to but offer thoughts and prayers.
This has to stop. There’s no place for hate in our communities. Jagmeet Singh and the NDP are the only party that will take on racism and white supremacist violence. We will create a national action plan to dismantle far-right extremist organizations and create new systems to identify, monitor, and prosecute hate crimes.
