Trudeau won’t say his candidate’s home-flipping is “predatory”

Vancouver-Granville Liberal candidate Taleeb Noormohamed has flipped at least 42 homes since 2005.

Justin Trudeau has called home-flipping “predatory.” But he has refused to say if he thinks the home-flipping practice of one of his own candidates is predatory.

When asked, Noormohamed refused to admit his flipping contributed to the housing crisis.

NDP candidate Peter Julian:

“Justin Trudeau says home-flipping is predatory. But for six years, he's let speculators and home-flippers like his candidate off the hook while they drove home prices out of reach for people. If Justin Trudeau expects Canadians to believe he’ll do something about home flipping, he needs to start by denouncing his own candidate’s predatory housing speculation.”
