Reality check: Office spending – The top 10 Conservative Ministers
At the Conservative convention today, members will be discussing further cuts and privatization to the services Canadians rely on.
There will even be a motion from Maxime Bernier to cap government spending regardless of inflation.
This comes despite the fact that Bernier increased spending in his own office by $155,485 in the last fiscal year, an increase of 40.3%.
In fact, spending by Conservative ministers on their offices increased by 5.5% ($2,907,097), from $53,177,725 to $56,084,822 in the last fiscal year.
