Premier Eby urging British Columbians to re-elect NDP MPs

In a video together, B.C. Premier David Eby encourages British Columbians to re-elect NDP MPs to continue advocating for Canadians

VICTORIA – On Thursday, in a video to British Columbians, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh was joined by B.C. Premier and BC NDP Leader David Eby with a message to British Columbians that federal and provincial New Democrats fight together to make people's lives better.

"[Jagmeet's] team from B.C., the NDP MPs, were part of a national team that helped deliver pharmacare, helping Canadians afford medications – in some cases even get them free, dental care, so people can get their teeth fixed, the basics for Canadians," said Eby in the video. "You're going to have a chance out there to see some NDP candidates in your community, be sure to re-elect NDP MPs to make sure they're advocating for Canadians every day."

Since elected, Jagmeet Singh and the NDP have shown they've always been in it for regular people. Because of the NDP team:

3.3 million Canadians have their NDP Dental Care Card and soon that will be 9 million people, saving a family of 4 $1,700 per year.

Millions of Canadians will get free birth control and diabetes medication saving them up to $2,000 per year.

"We're stronger when we fight together. Together, David Eby and our NDP MPs in British Columbia have fought for and won things that make life better for British Columbians: pharmacare, childcare and dental care," said NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.
