Does Joe Oliver ever get tired of being wrong?

Speaking to reporters about supporting a West to East pipeline the Natural Resources Minister once again undermined his own credibility by falsely attacking the Leader of the NDP.

“Mr. Mulcair has jumped on the bandwagon of a west-east pipeline”

Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact it was almost one year ago that Tom Mulcair made his support for refining Canada’s oil resources in Canada explicit:

"The smart thing to do, if we were thinking about Canada's own energy security and its own energy future, would of course be to complete a pipeline to the east"

Clearly this Johnny-come-lately Minister is only trying to distract Canadians after pledging to ship tens of thousands of good paying jobs out of Canada.

Conservatives should stop ignoring the facts.

Canadians deserve better.
