No one should be living with dental pain or worrying about how they’ll pay for the care they need. Unfortunately, over a third of Canadians have no dental insurance, and nearly 7 million Canadians avoid the dentist every year because of the high cost. That’s why, for years, the NDP has been fighting to provide dental care for everyone who needs it.
With the introduction of the NDP Dental care program, it is estimated that there are 4.5 million seniors, people with disabilities and children under 18 that could benefit from this program and ultimately, it will be 9.1 million people by 2025. This new program is historic and will make a huge difference for people.
On Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, join NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh and MP Bonita Zarrillo (Port Moody-Coquitlam) for a community forum on dental care in Port Moody to learn more about the program and how you can apply.
