Canadians are rightly worried about who will pay for the pandemic – and who will pay for the recovery.

While families struggled, the super-rich and biggest corporations have made billions off the pandemic. They're not struggling, they've profited off this crisis.

And this isn't an accident.

The system designed by Justin Trudeau's Liberals and Erin O'Toole's Conservatives doesn't work for working people. It works for the rich and powerful.

And Justin Trudeau’s budget made it clear that the Liberals don't have the courage to stop pandemic profiteering and have no plan to make profiteers pay for the pandemic.

Trudeau continues to give his rich friends a free ride – when we need them to pitch in. He prefers protecting the profits of big corporations instead of helping your family.

A PBO report shows that an excess profit tax could recoup $8 billion that could be used to better help small businesses and workers recover from the pandemic.
